Kidney disease is the 8th leading cause of death in Malaysia, affecting over 50,000 individuals who depend on dialysis to survive. However, many from low-income families cannot afford the high costs of dialysis, medications, and regular health monitoring. Without support, these individuals face severe complications and even loss of life.

NKF's Life-Saving Projects
Dialysis for Everyone
NKF Malaysia provides subsidized dialysis treatments to over 1,800 patients annually across 28 dialysis centres nationwide. These centres ensure that patients, even those in rural areas, can access care close to their homes.
Preventive Care and Education
Prevention is key. NKF organizes community screenings, educational programs, and public awareness campaigns to highlight the importance of kidney health and early detection. By catching the disease early, patients can avoid long-term complications.
Empowering Patients and Families
Living with kidney disease impacts entire families. NKF provides counseling, financial aid, and nutritional guidance to help patients and their loved ones manage the challenges of chronic kidney disease.
